ON DISPLAY
2025–Present

The Ladies,2026
Oil on canvas, 30 × 40 cm
The world has moved on, but they remain faithful to their pose.
On Display began with my fascination with porcelain figures that have slipped out of fashion — objects once made to embody beauty, elegance and good taste, now easily dismissed as sentimental or kitsch. I place them among reflections, glass and shifting spaces, where they become less like ornaments and more like figures on a quiet stage.
I am interested in what remains after the moment of admiration has passed: the pose, the dignity, and the persistence of being seen.
